Building on the success of last year's inaugural event, we are proud to present NUTRICON 2015 success. NUTRICON 2015 gathered professionals from: Human and Oral Medicine, Nutritionists, Technologists, Biotechnologists and Engineers who are working in issues connected with food area.


International Conference NUTRICON 2015, organized by the Consulting and Training Centre KEY, was held in Porta Macedonia in Skopje, Macedonia, from 19th to 20th of November 2015. Dental Chamber of Macedonia and Doctor’s Chamber of Macedonia accredited NUTRICON 2015 as a part of Continued medical education. This Conference is annual and the next will take place in December 2016.


These novel idea and initiative gathered more than 150 participants from the region: Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia & Hercegovina, Croatia, Bulgaria, Montenegro, Hungary, Slovenia, Romania, Albania, as well as from Armenia, Ukraine, Estonia, United Kingdom, Czech Republic, Israel, Pakistan, Iran, Turkey, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Africa, etc.


Their specific scientific and professional work was shared among their colleagues who are working in other specialized fields. There were very interesting and cutting edge presentations and posters. Brokerage event allowed many scientist to network with their colleagues who are working in similar fields, and to establish: Business cooperation, Academia-Industry partnership, or create new partnership for application to EU programs like: HORIZON 2020, Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci etc.

Special Supplemental Food Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) and Oral Hygiene; 24. Oral/Dental Health and Nutrition (Mouth and Teeth Diseases); 25. Nutritional Education related to Oral Health Issues; 26. Food labeling and Nutrition& Health claims (national, international and global harmonization); 27. Nutrition Guidelines, Regulations and Legislation (differences and harmonization); 28. Harmonization of Education for Nutritional Health and Training Standards; 29. Malnutrition in particular Micronutrient deficiency (poor or under-nutrition, over-nutrition etc.); 30. Healthy Nutrition (Bio-functional Nutrition); 31. Dietary (therapeutically) Nutrition and Diet Supplements; 32. Anti-aging Nutrition; 33. Nutrition for Collectivities (Mass catering) and Special Needs Groups (Sports, Vegan, Religious, etc.).

38 scientific papers were submitted in all of the above mentioned areas. These papers were approved by 38 members of the International Scientific Committee. All abstracts are published into NUTRCON 2015 Book of Abstracts and in the CAB Abstracts database. Full papers are published in the recognized and world renowned electronic journals: Journal of Hygienic Engineering and Design - JHED ( and Chemical and Biological Technologies in Agriculture (CBTA) - Springer, and are available in the following databases: CABI Full text repository database, Food Science and Technology - FSTA database and Global health database.


This event was announced and followed in many electronic and printed mass media as: MTV, Kanal 5, MIA, TV 21, Vecer, etc.


In order to introduce Conference participants with Macedonian country beauties, traditions, history, heritage and hospitality, Consulting and Training Center KEY organized very interesting social program (see Conference Photo Gallery).
